Mohamed Alnafea leads the Capital Markets, Investment Funds & Real Estate practice. He is a leading authority on the formation, structuring and regulatory management of REITs and specialised private funds, combining Capital Market Authority regulatory fluency with novel structuring, including the transfer of a unified sovereign master title deed into a private regulated fund. Under his leadership the practice established more than 100 funds in 2025 for CMA-licensed managers, including several of the top ten by assets under management.

- Advised on a SAR 11 billion fund restructuring 686,000 square metres of informal settlements in Makkah.
- Lead partner on the structural design of a SAR 10 billion Shariah-compliant private fund for Jadwa Investment.
- Lead counsel on the restructuring of a SAR 8 billion private real estate fund ahead of a capital increase.
- Led a SAR 1.02 billion REIT establishment with the concurrent acquisition of five income-yielding properties.
