She holds a master’s degree from University College London (UCL), specializing in international law, and a bachelor’s degree from SOAS, University of London.She has extensive experience in capital markets, regulatory compliance, and securities transactions, advising investment banks, asset managers, and financial institutions. Her expertise includes debt and equity issuances, private investment fund structuring, public fund offerings, and regulatory matters in the capital markets sector.Marya has advised on complex investment structures, major real estate development funds, and high-value transactions.

- Advised Al Akaria (Saudi Real Estate Company) on the Development Management Agreement for the Sidrat Al Ula Project involving Al Akaria, the Royal Commission of Al Ula, and Al Ula Development Company. The project covered a 260,233.23 sqm mixed-use development in Al Ula.
- Advised Al Akaria in the establishment of a new special purpose company with Arriyadh Development Company and Riyadh Holding Company, and on the related development management agreement.
- Provided legal counsel for Clinicy in securing a major seven-figure investment in a Series A funding round — one of the largest healthcare investments in Saudi Arabia.
- Represented a fund manager in the establishment of a private real estate investment fund dedicated to a hospitality project, aimed at securing over SAR 1 billion in funding.
- Represented a fund manager in a complex private investment fund structure, securing more than SAR 600 million in funding for each fund within the project. Managed all related follow-on agreements, including development management agreements, property management contracts, and land sale and purchase agreements.
- Represented a fund manager in the establishment of a SAR 11 billion real estate development fund sponsored by a government entity. Assisted in drafting sale and purchase agreements, development management agreements, a framework agreement, and a property management agreement.
- Provided legal advice to investment banks on various capital market activities, including securities borrowing and lending, custody agreements, and discretionary management agreements. Represented these institutions in transactions with governmental entities, high-net-worth clients, and corporate entities, ensuring strategic legal oversight.
